Position Overview
MediOne Physio and Rehab is seeking a motivated Chiropodist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare clinic. Role suited to both experienced practitioners and new graduates. Environment supports clinical autonomy, professional growth, and team-based care within a growing community.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of foot and lower-limb conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide patient care including:
Nail and callus care
Wart treatments
Chronic and acute wound care
Biomechanical and gait analysis for offloading
Minor to moderate procedures (e.g., ingrown toenail removal, partial nail avulsions, soft-tissue procedures)
Prescribe and manage:
Custom orthotics
Orthopedic footwear
Compression stockings
Provide patient education on foot care and appropriate footwear
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EMR
Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are properly maintained
Collaborate with an inter-professional team including chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, psychotherapists, dietitians, family physicians, endocrinologists, nurses, diabetes educators, and pharmacists
Contribute to community outreach, physician networking, and professional education initiatives
Comply with clinic policies and all applicable provincial regulations
Foot mobilization training considered an asset.
Qualifications
Graduate Diploma in Chiropody from a recognized institution (D.Ch. or D.Pod.M.)
Member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, without restrictions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience or demonstrated competence in diabetic foot care
Proficiency with EMR systems
Sound clinical judgment and problem-solving ability
Self-directed, accountable, and collaborative mindset
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
