Manual Osteopathic Practitioner
We are seeking a part time motivated Osteopathic Practitioner to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
What to Expect For Your Osteopathic Practitioner Role
Use and application of manual techniques that could include but not limited to: massage, soft tissue therapy, stretching, mobilization and osteopathic manipulations
Collaborative team of therapists
Flexible scheduling
Access to online booking system and EMR
Responsibilities:
Developing a treatment plan according to the patient’s individualized needs
document clinical care activities in the patient’s EMR
Willing to learn and works well in a collaborative environment as you will be working with a team of chiropractors, acupuncturist, massage therapist, psychotherapist, dietician and will be in touch with family physicians regarding patient treatment plans and progress
Support and contribute to a healthy workplace that embraces lifelong learning, diversity, clinical teamwork, privacy, and adherence to professional standards of practice
Requirements:
Certified and good standing with the College of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners of Ontario
Excellent communication and client management skills
A positive, professional, and flexible attitude
Ability to work in a team environment with other Health Care Professionals
Desire to build and grow
Additional certifications (acupuncture, Fascial Stretch Therapy, etc) are an asset but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Licence/Certification:
osteopathic license (required)
Work Location: In person
Clinic Location: Thornhill/Markham
