We are seeking a part time motivated Registered Psychotherapist to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary team. As we would like to offer psychotherapy for patients who have mild to moderate mental illness/ personality disorders.

Option of seeing patients in-person or virtually.

Expectations:

• Virtual consultations will require you to have access to phone and internet for video conferencing

• In-clinic presence will be dependent on patient necessity

• conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of adults

• provide evidence-based psychotherapies

• document clinical care activities in the patient’s EMR

• Work collaboratively in a team environment while adhering to clinic processes and procedures

• Support and contribute to a healthy workplace that embraces lifelong learning, diversity, clinical teamwork, privacy, and adherence to professional standards of practice.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Clinical experience working with adults with chronic depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders.

• Registration with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario in good standing & meeting legislative and College regulatory requirements to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy

• Proof of professional liability insurance

• Experience working as part of a multi/interdisciplinary team

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Skills in critical thinking skills and clinical decision making
